FREELANCE RESIDENCE IN SPAIN REQUIREMENTS

We are facing a temporary residence of 1 year and limited to a geographical area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not to be a citizen of the EU, economic area or Switzerland, nor those that are applicable to them by the community regime
• Not be irregularly in Spanish territory
• Lack of a criminal record in Spain and in the previous countries of residence of the last 5 years.
• Not be prohibited from entering Spain
• Not being in the voluntary period of no return to Spain.
• Have paid the corresponding processing fee

Requirements regarding the activity to be developed, among some of them:

• Those that the Legislation requires to the nationals for running and operation of the activity.  Authorizations or licenses.
• Possessing the legally required professional qualification or sufficient proven experience in the exercise of the professional activity, or association register when required.
• Prove that the planned investment of the project is sufficient and the impact, where appropriate, on job creation.

BUSINESS PLAN REPORT

It is required the delivery of the Project of establishment or activity to be carried out.

The business plan report, professional qualification and investment accreditation may be substituted for accreditation by the favorable report of the appropiate  administration office.

Place of presentation: Diplomatic mission or Spanish consular office of your place of residence.

In the case of a concession, the worker has 1 month from the notification to personally apply for the visa, in the diplomatic mission or consular office of his demarcation of residence.
