DIGITAL NOMAD VISA SPAIN REQUIREMENTS

  1.  Employment Status: You should be working remotely for a company or employer outside of Spain. If self-employed, you can work for a Spanish company, as long as it doesn't exceed 20% of your total professional activity.
  2. Qualification/Experience: You must either hold an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a prestigious University, College, or Business School, or have at least three years of work experience in your current field of activity.
  3. Family Members: Your spouse or unmarried partner, dependent children, and dependent relatives who are part of the family unit can also obtain the visa.
  4. Certification of working for at least 3 months for a foreign Company.
  5. Show evidence of having adequate financial resourcesThe precise requirement is twice the SMI (€25,000), which can be proven through your bank account (even if it's an overseas account) or your salary earnings.

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Main applicant 2.300 euros monthly income 
  • + one family member + 800 euros + additional family members + 300 euros 

It can be demonstrated with the current salary and income from your remote work. 
 

HOW CAN I APPLY? 

  • It can be applied from the Spanish consulate in your own country and you will get the visa for 1 year and then later apply for the residence of 3 years. 
  • It can be applied from Spain within the legal status (tourist, legal residence)and you will get a Residence for 3 years to be renewed for periods of 2 years.
